Domain Scam

I got a call today from 866-383-0986. Same thing yesterday. It's a foreign sounding person asking if I own a certain domain and saying that they wanted my fax number. I told them that I would not give it to them and they hung up. I searched on Yahoo for the phone number and found several blogs mentioning that the same thing had happened to them.

If you don't know what Linked In is, you should check it out. It's great for making new connections, hearing about job opportunities, and also reconnecting with old friends. I've managed to find a few people that I had lost touch with for years. It basically operates on the 6 degrees of separation principle - you add your connections, then you can connect to their connections, and so on.
