I’ll admit it. I have an obsession with cars. Cars and watches are my two vices (along with lattes in the morning).
I’ve had a couple of convertibles in the past – my first, a cherry red Alfa Romeo Spider, then years later a BMW z3. After driving SUVs for about 6 years, I finally pulled the trigger and got another one. I choose practicality over fun for many years, and really, life is way too short to do that.
Overall, I’ve been quite pleased with the car. A little slow when you first step on the gas, but the very fast after the first few seconds. It handles well, and has a brilliant sound system – Bang and Olufsen. With the top up, it’s very quiet, and with the top down, it’s fun as can be, and it is incredibly steady at high speeds. My favorite small attention to detail – the temperature adjusts automatically based on whether the top is up or down. Overall thumbs up.
